Combination storage heaters are one of the more advanced models of storage heater, providing additional ‘on-demand’ heating from an in-built convection heater. Using the same low-cost Economy 7 energy tariff as other storage heaters, combination storage heaters charge themselves over night and disperse their heat throughout the day. If the heat expends too soon, or you feel the need for a blast of warm air, you can turn on the in-built convection heater for fast-acting warmth. Combination storage heaters have the same control options as automatic storage heaters, intuitively recording the amount of expended heat throughout the day to adjust the charge rate overnight.
